Home Remedies for Sugar Ants

It is not a pleasant day when you find sugar ants is parading in your house, mostly they invade the kitchen, to grab sugar and other sweet food.   The sugar ants may become serious pest infestation in your house because their amount may be hundreds or thousands.

Sugar ants can do unpleasant bite to your children and your pets like dogs or cats.   Actually sugar ants are not very aggresive ants.  But when they have been provoked, your children and pets might be do that, they will bite.  Not a serious bite, but it is enough to make your child crying.

What you need to do is to keep the sugar ants away from your house.  You can do this using home remedies.  Several home remedies are proven to be effectively for sugar ants keeping away.

Home Remedies for Sugar Ants:

Vinegar Oil

Black Pepper

Whole Clove

Moth Balls

Boiling Water

Vinegar Oil, black peper and whole clove have strong odor that sugar ants do not like it and try to keep themselves from those home remedies.  You can spray vinegar oil to the sugar ants trail or sprinkle black pepper and clove to them.  The best action is: make a perimeter of those home remedies to protect your house.  Spray or sprinkle it do door ways, window frames or other entry points indicated the sugar ants use them to enter your home.

If you want to kill the sugar ants as fast as you can, you can use boiling water.  Pour boiling water into their nest.  You can find their nest by following the sugar ants trail.
